2025 Summer AYC Youth Conference: A Generation Dreaming of Revival
From August 11 (Mon) to 14 (Thu), 2025, the AYC Summer Youth Conference was held at Nanoose Bay Camp on Vancouver Island.
This year’s gathering brought together a total of 250 participants:
120 Indigenous youth from Saskatchewan, Ahousaht, Port Alberni, Port Hardy, and Gitsegukla
120 volunteers from various churches in Vancouver
10 pastors from across different regions
Together, they worshiped God and experienced His grace in powerful ways.
🙏 A Month of Prayer and Preparation
The 120 volunteers gathered weekly for a month leading up to the conference, praying and studying the Word together. Each small group leader carried the heart of a shepherd, interceding that every youth would have a personal encounter with Jesus.
🚗 A Special Journey from Gitsegukla
From the interior of BC, a pastor and a young man named Cole drove 18 hours from Gitsegukla First Nation to attend the conference.
They testified, “Next time, we will return with more youth from our community.”
Though only two came, their presence was a prophetic sign that God is preparing revival, even in distant places.
💧 A Tearful Baptism
On the third day, 16 participants publicly declared new life in Christ through baptism.
With tears, they confessed:
“I no longer want to live the way I used to. I want to follow the Lord I have met.”
This baptism was far more than a ritual — it was a powerful testimony that God is doing a new work in the next generation of Indigenous youth.
🎤 The Gospel Echoed Through Testimony
Guest speaker Christopher, an Indigenous pastor, shared his story of encountering Jesus in prison. He spoke of miracles and revival behind prison walls, powerfully declaring that God works in every circumstance. His testimony brought hope and courage to the youth, showing that transformation is possible no matter where you are.
💬 A Youth’s Life-Changing Confession
One Indigenous youth who attended for the first time shared:
“Before coming to AYC, I lived in constant fear of death and anxiety. I suffered panic attacks daily and could hardly sleep. But through the worship, testimonies, and nightly prayers, I felt my heart begin to heal. I experienced God’s love in a way I never had before, and I accepted Jesus as my Savior. Now, I want to live not in fear but in hope.”
This heartfelt confession deeply moved everyone present and became living proof of how God’s grace is powerfully at work in this generation.
🌱 The Journey Ahead & Prayer Request
Though the summer conference has ended, the mission of AYC continues.

2025년 여름 AYC 청소년 집회: 부흥을 꿈꾸는 세대
지난 8월 11일(월)부터 14일(목)까지 밴쿠버섬 나누스베이 캠프에서 2025년 여름 AYC 청소년 집회가 은혜 가운데 마무리되었습니다.
이번 집회에는 총 250명이 참석했습니다.
Saskatchewan, Ahousaht, Port Alberni, Port Hardy, Gitsegukla 등 다양한 지역에서 모인 120명의 원주민 청소년들
밴쿠버 여러 교회에서 함께한 120명의 봉사자들
그리고 다양한 지역에서 함께한 10명의 목회자들
모두가 한자리에 모여 예배하며 하나님께서 행하신 놀라운 은혜를 경험했습니다.
🙏 한 달간의 기도와 준비
120명의 봉사자들은 집회 한 달 전부터 매주 모여 기도와 말씀으로 준비했습니다. 각 소그룹 리더들은 청소년 한 명 한 명이 예수님을 인격적으로 만나는 시간이 되기를 간절히 중보했습니다.
🚗 Gitsegukla 공동체의 특별한 발걸음
이번 집회에는 BC 내륙 Gitsegukla First Nation에서 한 원주민 목회자와 청년 Cole이 참석했습니다. 18시간을 직접 운전해 도착한 그들은,
“다음 집회에는 더 많은 청소년들을 데리고 오겠다”는 다짐을 남기고 돌아갔습니다.
비록 두 명이었지만, 하나님께서 부흥을 예비하시는 특별한 시작이 되었습니다.
💧 눈물의 세례식
셋째 날, 16명의 참가자들이 세례를 통해 새로운 삶을 결단했습니다.
“과거의 모습으로 살지 않고, 내가 만난 주님을 따르겠다”는 고백은 현장에 있던 모두에게 깊은 울림을 주었습니다.
이번 세례는 단순한 의식을 넘어, 하나님께서 원주민 다음 세대 가운데 새 일을 행하신다는 강력한 증거가 되었습니다.
🎤 간증으로 울려 퍼진 복음
스피커로 초청된 Christopher 원주민 목사는 감옥에서 주님을 만난 간증을 전했습니다. 그는 기적과 감옥 안에서의 부흥 이야기를 통해, 어떤 상황 속에서도 하나님은 역사하신다는 사실을 선포했습니다. 이 메시지는 청소년들에게 큰 도전과 소망을 심어주었습니다.
💬 청소년의 변화된 고백
집회를 처음 참석한 한 원주민 청소년의 고백:
“집회에 오기 전, 저는 매일 불안과 죽음의 두려움 속에서 살았습니다. 하지만 예배와 간증, 기도를 통해 하나님의 사랑을 깊이 경험했고, 주님을 제 삶의 구주로 영접하게 되었습니다. 이제는 두려움이 아니라 소망 가운데 살고 싶습니다.”
그의 고백은 함께한 모든 이들에게 깊은 울림을 주었고, 하나님의 은혜가 다음 세대 안에서 살아 역사하심을 보여주었습니다.
🌱 앞으로의 여정과 기도 요청
여름 집회는 마무리되었지만 AYC의 사역은 계속됩니다.
